Jessica Short is a dedicated professional who has made significant contributions to the fields of science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM) education. As the Director of the Dayton Regional STEM Center, she works to connect students and teachers with hands-on learning experiences in STEM fields.
In addition to her role as the STEM Center Director, Jessica also serves as the Coordinator of Operations for the DO STEM Ecosystem, where she works closely with educators, community leaders, and industry partners to promote STEM learning opportunities in the Dayton area.
She is also the Dayton Regional Hub director for the DoD STEM Consortium, where she works to increase access to STEM education for military-connected and underrepresented students and families.
As a passionate advocate for STEM education, Jessica has dedicated her career to creating innovative learning opportunities for students and teachers alike. Whether working with local educators to develop STEM curricula or collaborating with industry partners to support workforce development initiatives, Jessica's work has helped to make STEM education more accessible and engaging for students in the Dayton region and beyond.
