After a year-long redesign of the nationally recognized STEM Fellows professional development model with the help of over 90 STEM stakeholders, we are proud to launch the Dayton Regional STEM Center's Next Gem Innovators (NGI).
The Next Gem Innovators program goes beyond the traditional confines of STEM education, focusing on Strategies That Engage Minds. Our mission is to revolutionize STEM education by empowering educators with the tools, resources, and connections needed to provide dynamic, real-world learning experiences that inspire the next generation of innovators. NGI is committed to fostering collaboration between educators, industry professionals, districts, and communities to shape the future of STEM education.
In this playground session, attendees will explore the new STEM Fellows Program ready for the 2024-25 School year. Designed to equip educators with the skills, knowledge, and leadership capabilities necessary to drive meaningful change in STEM education. Through a blend of virtual coursework, in-person workshops, and hands-on experiences, participants embark on a journey of self-discovery, collaboration, and professional growth.
