To entice young people to seriously consider STEM careers, the field must overcome the perspection that its jobs are socially isolating. In this session we will show how group learning keeps STEM topics socially engaging and inspires participants through a joined sense of purpose and wonder.
Amy is a member of the Yellow Springs School Board of Education and Yellow Springs Science Castle founder. They are a retired USAF officer and former faculty at the Air Force Institute of Technology.
