Sinclair College is a DSEC, Defense Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics Education Consortium, partner.  DSEC, an organization that is part of the Department of Defense (DOD), seeks to inspire the next generation of scientists and engineers. The work of DSEC includes elements focused on STEM enrichment programs for students and educators, STEM workforce engagement, program evaluation, and public outreach.  We will explore how Sinclair is working with DSEC to provide opportunities for all students, especially those who have not been exposed to STEM.  We will also discuss the role of STEM Ambassadors for DSEC and the DOD.  We will highlight the application process, the time commitment and discuss STEM outreach projects by the current STEM Ambassador for Sinclair College and DSEC.
