Taking Flight: Using feedback to elevate student voice in the Engineering Design Process

Participants will engage in an interactive session to learn strategies to elevate student voice and metacognition through self assessment, feedback, and reflection during the Engineering Design Process.  Applying Personalized Learning concepts, participants will gain specific strategies that can be utilized in their classrooms to improve learner agency.  Focusing on the role of feedback in the Engineering Design process, participants will engage in a hands-on experience in which they will give and receive feedback to improve their designs.  Climb into the pilot seat and take flight as you experience the feedback loop and apply what you’ve learned in today’s session.
